Cosmetic facial acupuncture can be combined with light-emitting diode (LED) light therapy a combination of Eastern traditional practices meet with modern technology in this deeply relaxing treatment. Cosmetic facial acupuncture strengthens, stimulates and helps to re-harmonise the face and body’s energy circulation. Following on from a full consultation Claire will remove any residual make-up, cleanse and prepare your skin before inserting sterile single-use acupuncture needles into balancing body points prior to your facial point application. Between 30-70 tiny fine facial needles are inserted into the skin. 

 There are many benefits to using Light Emitting Diode therapies which can treat a variety of conditions. The most appropriate light function to suit your needs will be selected and the lamp put in place for a period of 30 minutes.

Soft music will play as you lie back and relax with your head under the gentle and safe heat emanating from the LED hood. Most clients report experiencing a profoundly trance like sleep state. Complimentary bespoke energy work may be facilitated at this time depending upon your needs.

After treatment, the facial and body needles are removed and your skin is cleansed and an appropriate SPF Vitamin C product, Camelia Tea Oil or Claire’s aromatherapy Hydrating Magic Facial Oil will be applied, depending upon your skin type and time of treatment.

Red Light 

Red light increases cell enzyme activity and stimulates the production of collagen which is essential for repairing damaged skin tissue and improving skin texture. You should see a reduction in fine lines, scars, large pores and pigmentation.  It is also recommended for eczema and rosacea as it speeds up and improves wound healing. 

Green Light

The green LED has a detoxifying and anti-ageing effect.
